Eghosa Oriaikhi Mabhena joined Puma Energy in July 2019. Previously, she was an Executive Director at Baker Hughes, a GE Company where she led business units across Europe, Africa, Russia Caspian, Middle East and Asia Pacific. She also spent 9 years at Schlumberger. Eghosa has been in the Energy industry for over 17 years and her expertise are in Corporate & Commercial Strategy, Business Development, Operational and Financial Leadership, Operations Management, Contract Management, Engineering & Technology, Supply Chain & Manufacturing. She serves on boards and her passion is in helping to shape diverse work cultures, which enable women to thrive in senior positions within organizations.
Eghosa holds a Global Executive MBA from IESE Business School in Spain and a Masters qualification in Mechanical Engineering from University College London, UK. She has lived in Nigeria, England, Northern Ireland, USA and Malaysia, with extended time spent in Spain and Hong Kong.
In her current position at Puma Energy, Eghosa plays an integral role on the Executive Committee and is responsible for all 18 country operations across Africa. Her work ranges from government relations through to developing strategic relationships with other critical stakeholders across the continent, including logistics, industry bodies, and oil and gas operators.
Eghosa’s leadership unites complex operations across Southern, Central and West Africa, to consolidate Puma Energy’s focus on the continent. Her immense efforts help drive sustainable growth, and her embodiment of Puma Energy’s unique blend of local market expertise and global capabilities combine to deliver world-class and customer-centric service.
