She has 12 years’ experience in developing women networks – passionate about gender parity.
International Women in Mining (IWiM) is the fastest growing network for women in the mining industry, with 10,000+ members in over 100 countries, supporting 45+ WiM groups around the world Barbara leads a group that aims to be the leading global platform for all women in mining via initiatives that improve worldwide diversity and foster women’s professional development in the mining industry.
The forum provides platform for global discussion, networking and dissemination of information, jobs, courses & events. It also brings all WIM group members & non-affiliated female professionals working in the mining sector globally closer together.
Through its projects, WIM aims at increasing number of women serving on boards via our Women on Boards webinar programme & board-ready database. It also aims to increasing the number of women presenting at mining conferences via their IWiMSpeakUp project.
